Benefits of Group Piano Classes
We offer piano lessons for students of all levels, from beginners to advanced

Motivation &
Confidence
Group classes create a positive and encouraging environment where students learn alongside peers, build confidence, and stay motivated through shared musical experiences. Students develop performance confidence naturally while feeling supported, connected, and excited to participate each week.

Creativity &
Collaboration
Students develop creativity, listening skills, rhythm, and ensemble awareness through games, movement, improvisation, and collaborative music-making activities. Learning with others encourages communication, teamwork, creativity, and a deeper sense of musical connection and engagement.

Stronger Musical Understanding
Learning in a group setting reinforces musical concepts through interactive and hands-on experiences that make learning both engaging and effective. Students build stronger retention, deeper musical understanding, and greater independence while developing important foundational skills.
Curriculum

We use Piano Safari Friends as the is the primary curriculum for our beginner group classes.
This highly researched method, developed by Dr. Julie Knerr and Katherine Fisher, integrates intervallic reading, rote-based pattern recognition, technical development, and improvisation. Its comprehensive approach makes it particularly effective for students of all learning styles, including aural learners, analytical thinkers, and both accelerated and slower-paced students.
This series has the ability to adapt to group teaching very easily.
